Biotech/Pharmaceutical Skid Fabricator and Specialty Contractor Coming to Garner
Garner, N.C. -- UltraPure Systems, Inc., a Puerto Rico-based firm, will open an office and fabrication facility in Garner’s Greenfield North Business Park in the coming weeks.
The Garner facility, to be located in an existing space at 600 Greenfield Parkway, Suite 650, will have about 50 employees composed of engineers and skilled craft in the first year, UltraPure Systems President and CEO Cesar Roca said.
“Our goal is to headquarter our North American operations out of Garner,” Roca said. Roca said the company also intends to make Garner the firm’s engineering center where engineers will serve clients globally.
The target start date at the 12,000 square foot facility is April 1, Roca said.
He said investment in the Garner location will total $500,000. The company specializes in the fabrication of process and utility equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. It also does field installations of process/utility piping systems and equipment.
“The Town of Garner and Wake County Economic Development are excited to have Cesar Roca, president and CEO of UltraPure, locate the company’s North American operations in our community,” Garner Economic Development Director Tony Beasley said. “They will be a wonderful addition to Greenfield North Business Park and be an asset to not only their existing customers but all the life science businesses in North Carolina and the U.S.”
