International Cleantech Network Convenes in Region

 Research Triangle Region, NC -- Leading international representatives of the clean technology industry will convene in the Research Triangle Region in October.

Regional business and community leaders are invited to join them for a networking breakfast and interactive panel discussion, ”The International Cleantech Smart Grid Forum,” Wednesday, Oct. 25, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the SAS Executive Briefing Center.

The discussion is part of a three-day program of the International Cleantech Network (ICN), hosted by the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster (RTCC). The event is expected to attract delegations from member cleantech clusters in Denmark, Spain, Austria, Italy, Singapore, France, Norway, Germany and Ft. Collins, Colo. Several of these clusters are ranked among the top 10 global cleantech clusters in the world.

“The RTCC is excited about the opportunity to showcase our region’s cleantech assets and to facilitate connections between local experts and colleagues from around the world,” says Lee Anne Nance, senior vice president, strategic initiatives, for the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, a member of the regional cluster.
