Johnston County Industrial Park Certified by State as “Development Ready"

Research Triangle Region, N.C. – Selma Crossings, a 154-acre industrial park on Pine Level Selma Road in Johnston County, has been certified as development-ready by the N.C. Department of Commerce.

It is located less than two miles from Interstate 95 and 45 miles from RDU International Airport. It is one of the few dual-rail-served sites in the state, providing access to both CSX and Norfolk Southern Railroad. Electric power and waste water services are provided by the Town of Selma. Piedmont Natural Gas Co. provides the natural gas service, and telecommunication is serviced by AT&T. (View all the documents for the certified site.)

Selma Crossings is one of 19 state-certified sites in the state’s inventory. The N.C. Certified Sites Program aims to make the search for industrial real estate easier by providing an inventory of properties that have undergone a rigorous prequalification process to ensure they meet a consistent set of standards. Certified sites reduce development risks by providing detailed information about a site, including price and availability, utilities, access, environmental concerns and potential development costs. Sites are periodically recertified to ensure accurate, reliable data.
