Wake County Economic Development Promotes Advanced Medical Care Cluster
Raleigh, N.C. -- Wake County Economic Development (WCED) stepped up marketing to the advanced medical technology cluster this quarter with a new life sciences marketing brochure, a regional network event and attendance at a major medical devices trade show.
A new Wake County life sciences brochure showcases the county and region's world-leading assets in the cluster maps (view and download at www.raleigh-wake.org/page/life-sciences-industry-maps).
WCED teamed with ibiliti to host a Traingle Medtech networking reception Jan. 20 at The Research Triangle Park headquarters. About 100 medical technology experts and company executives attended the reception. It is one of many sector networking events WCED hosts throughout the year to promote networking and innovation in the medical devices cluster.
Meanwhile, WCED assistant executive director Jennifer Bosser joined a regional team exhibiting at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) trade show in Anaheim, Calif. Feb. 8-10. MD&M is the premier conference program for research and development, design, engineering and manufacturing for the medical manufacturing industry.
