Research Triangle Region Developers Huddle with Site Selection Consultants
in September to Market the Region for Investment

RESEARCH TRIANGLE REGION, N.C. - The Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP) heads to Charlotte, N.C., and Greenville, S.C., Sept. 10-11 to market the region for investment to the specialists who help companies make location decisions.

RTRP Vice President of Client Services Debbie Lilly will lead the trip to meet with site selection consultants in the two cities that refer the domestic and international companies the region targets for relocation and expansion. RTRP primarily targets companies in five industry sectors (life sciences, information technology, automotive parts manufacturing, plastics manufacturing, and distribution and warehousing) because of their fit with existing industry and their potential to invest in both rural and urban parts of the region.

The September trip is part of RTRP's ongoing schedule of recruiting trips to attract investment. Anyone with contacts in these areas can support regional economic development by sharing that information with Debbie Lilly at (919) 840-7372, ext. 13, or dlilly@researchtriangle.org.

RTRP is a public/private partnership that promotes economic development for the 13-county region of North Carolina comprising Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange, Person, Vance, Wake and Warren counties.
