Wyeth's $7 million research and development facility in Durham County is among the $67 million in investment and 1,278 new jobs announced in the region during the second quarter of 2003.

Regional Accolades
MSN ranked the Triangle area the Best Place to Live in America among 331 metropolitan areas based on its cost of living, crime rate, education, home prices and weather. It was among a variety of recent accolades for the Research Triangle Region.
