State of the Region

The Research Triangle Regional Partnership annually convenes business and community leaders for the State of the Research Triangle Region event, an in-depth look at the region's economic health and competitive position.

The annual forum:
  • Provides economic data and analysis on the region's competitive position.
  • Examines the dynamic factors shaping the region's economy.
  • Briefs the community on the results of the Shape of Things to Come plan, the five-year economic competitiveness strategy designed to ensure a prosperous economic future for all 13 counties in the region.
More than 700 people attend each year. Sponsorships are available for the 2010 event, to be held Thursday, May 27, 2010, at the Sheraton Imperial in Durham.
