The Research Triangle Region's global strategy seeks to expand international investment and trade relations with companies worldwide, primarly those working in areas related to the region's targeted life science and technology clusters.

The 45-step strategy, called "Focusing All Eyes on the Horizon," aligns the many organizations and resources in the 13-county region to attract more direct investment from foreign companies and increase trade opportunities for local companies.
