16 square miles of lake and a reservoir of possibility.

In addition to being the largest retail center between Raleigh-Durham and Richmond, Vance County is a prime location for manufacturing and distribution. It's a boon to high tech development as well, with job training provided by Vance-Granville Community College.

Henderson, the county seat, is located at the intersection of I-85 and US 1. Rail service is available and there's a local airport with a 5,000-foot runway just 10 minutes from downtown. RDU International Airport is only 45 minutes away via I-85. Medically speaking, there's a 102-bed medical center with family and specialty services available, and all this is within a short driving distance of major medical facilities in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.

Furthermore, the business/industrial community in Vance County has an excellent working relationship with local and state government. They've partnered on several key projects to aid companies considering relocation, including incentives such as tax credits. State certified sites as well as several buildings are available to meet the needs of most of our inquiries. Vance also has a diversity of business/industry within its borders, largely thanks to the great workforce and location.

And that's not even including the area's natural appeal. Vance County is fortunate to also be home to Kerr Lake, with its "Beauty on a grand scale" that features more than 850 miles of shoreline and attracts some 1.5 million visitors per year. Don't miss the 4th of July fireworks!
