Launch Place tekee yhteistyötä Angel Capital Associationin kanssa lokakuun koulutus-, pitch-kilpailussa

Julkaisupäivä:

The Launch Place will partner with the Angel Capital Association (ACA) for an in-person event at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center in Research Triangle Park in October 2021 that’s designed to bring together angel investors and early-stage startup founders and their teams.

The two-day event includes the ACA Angel University, highlighted by two courses, Angel Exit Strategy ja Valuation, followed by The Big Launch Challenge, where 10 startup companies will pitch their businesses, and the winner will leave with $15,000.

The ACA Angel University courses will be open to angel investors, potential angel investors, and entrepreneurs, which according to a statement from The Launch Place, is the first time this format will be open to this audience.

“The goal of the Big Launch Challenge is to provide early-stage startups the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors, and for The Launch Place Pre-Seed and Seed Fund to generate deal flow,” said Eva Doss, president and CEO of The Launch Place, in a statement.

The Launch Place, through the Big Launch Challenge, has awarded $159,000 to 14 companies.  The competition requires that companies have fewer than 10 employees, have raised no more than $500,000, and have the potential for growing business operations in Danville, Virginia, Pittsylvania County, Virginia, or Caswell County, North Carolina, and that applications are submitted prior to the deadline, August 16, 2021.
