Developer bringing new life sciences project to Holly SpringsDate Published:
Developrer Crescent Communities, working with commercial real estate services provider CBRE Raleigh, is bringing a new life science and office development to Holly Springs. called The Yield.
It’s another significant project for the town, which was announced Tuesday as the site for a future $550 million Amgen manufacturing plant. Fujifilm also announced a $2 billion investment in a plant in the town which already is home to vaccine manufacturer Seqiris.
The new site is located at the intersection of Green Oaks Parkway and Holly Springs New Hill Road. The Yield will be next to the Seqirus campus where the Fujifilmfilm plant will be built.
CRBE Raleigh will be responsible for leasing.
“On the heels of Wake County’s largest economic development announcement related to FujiFilm’s $2B biomanufacturing facility, the Yield is extremely well positioned to capture the continued demand for high quality life science space in our market. Crescent Communities’ team has been very thoughtful in their design of a world class campus that is expected to attract top talent and further strengthen this life science research and industrial cluster in Holly Springs,” said CBRE|Raleigh’s Ann-Stewart Patterson in a statement.
A spokesperson for CBRE Raleigh said the new site is not where the Amgen plant will be built,
Ground is set to be broken this fall. It’s the first commercial and life science development for Crescent in the Triangle, according to the announcement.
First phase will include three buildings, two of which will cover 105,000 square feet and designed to be cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the FD) requirements. The third building will offer lab and office space.
Based in Charlotte, Crescent Communities maintains regional offices in Washington, DC, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake City
