RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Life science giant LabCorp is expanding its presence at Parmer RTP campus. It’s also getting a new neighbor, with Duke Health Technology Solutions moving onto campus as a new tenant.

Parmer Innovation Centers, which owns the 500-acre research and development campus including 20 separate buildings of office and laboratory space, announced both developments in a release today.

We are thrilled to welcome Duke Health Technology Solutions to our Parmer RTP campus, and that LabCorp, which is based in Burlington, has decided to expand its presence there,” Bart Olds, director of asset management for Karlin Real Estate, said in a statement. The firm manages leases on campus.

“Duke is an impressive institution that has been one of the catalysts for downtown Durham’s growth. Its move to Parmer RTP is a major win for the Research Triangle Park as it reinvents itself to meet the needs of today’s employees. We look forward to our partnership with DHTS and hope to see them grow in the park, as LabCorp is now doing.”

Following its initial lease of two buildings in April 2018, LabCorp, which is based in nearby Burlington, N.C., has signed a new long-term lease for an additional 111,000 square feet at 6 Moore Drive, expanding its footprint on the Parmer RTP campus by 50 percent.

DHTS’s long-term lease is for 120,000 square feet at 12 and 14 Moore Drive, formerly occupied by Credit Suisse. This space is adjacent to the one-acre amenity park, treehouse conference center, and two-story state-of-the-art fitness center that will be completed early this fall.
