Services for Veterans in the Research Triangle Region

The Triangle region has multiple resources available for veterans, active military members and their families. Each one of our 10 counties have their own veteran services office, in addition to two statewide veteran and active military service organizations that assist our military in a variety of ways.

NC Works is part of the Department of Commerce that helps “local talent find local jobs.” Veterans can discover which benefits and services are provided specifically for them as they look for employment.

NC Serves Central Carolina is a network of multiple organizations in the Raleigh area serving veterans, service members and their families to help them address their needs and achieve their goals. Services range from education to substance use/health to transportation, and help in a variety of other capacities to assist military members and their families in our region.
